Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra Workshop

In this 3-hour Sunday afternoon workshop, we aim to explore the active practice of relaxation through yoga and yoga nidra.
The workshop will include a combination of gentle yoga postures (asanas) and breathwork (pranayama). This will help to trigger your parasympathetic nervous system, which allows your body to relax, heal and find wellness. This is not a fast paced and flowing workshop but a reflective practice with a focus on relaxing and rejuvenating the body and mind.
The workshop will also explore yoga nidra or yogic sleep. Yoga nidra is among one of the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. Think of it like a guided meditation. Yoga nidra can be used therapeutically for healing, as well as to enhance creativity and productivity and to improve sleep and general health.
